Steve Van
President & CEO

Steve Van is President and CEO of Prism Hotels and Resorts. He founded Prism in 1983. Prism manages all major brands including Marriott, Hilton, Doubletree, Westin, Crowne Plaza, Holiday Inn, Radisson and Preferred Hotels and Resorts. Mr. Van was Hilton Doubletree Developer of the Year and serves on the Doubletree Owner’s Advisory Council.
REMIC Hotel Management, a division of Prism, is an industry leader in turning around distressed hotels for lenders and CMBS special servicers. REMIC to date has completed 115 distressed hotel assignments.
Mr. Van is a lifelong resident of Dallas and a member of the State Bar of Texas. He is married to Phyllis Van. They have five children and four grandchildren: Colby, Carson, Katherine and Clayton.
John Bailey
Chief Financial Officer

John recently served as Senior Vice President and Chief Accounting Officer for ClubCorp, and was a member of the Executive Committee. Prior to joining ClubCorp in October 2001, John was Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of HQ Global Workplaces.
Before joining HQ, John began his hospitality career in 1989 with Bristol Hotels & Resorts, where he was Vice President and Corporate Controller at the time the company was sold to InterContinental Hotels Group in April 2000. John is a graduate of Texas Tech University and holds a Bachelors Degree of Business Administration in Accounting and is a CPA.
Al Hatfield
Senior Vice President, Operations

Al is a Vice President of Operations at Prism Hotels and Resorts. He provides hotel operational and sales support as well as marketing analysis for each asset in the region.
Al brings more than 27 years of hospitality experience to Prism. In his career, Al has worked for Bristol Hotels, Crestline Capital Corporation, Wyndham Hotels & Resorts, InterContinental Hotels Group and CSM. Prior to becoming a Regional Vice President, Al held various positions including Restaurant Manager, Sales Manager, Banquet Manager, Director of F&B and various GM posts over more than 14 years. In the course of his GM positions the primary focus was renovation, re-branding and proper positioning of key assets. In addition to the operations work, Al also served as an Area Director of Sales and in a real estate role as Director of Hotel Development.
Al has a BS in Hotel Administration from the School of Hotel Administration at Cornell.

Kyle Green
Senior Vice President, Investments

Kyle is responsible for corporate finance, the company consortia purchasing program, license administration, property insurance, and risk management. Kyle has seven years experience in accounting and finance, five of those with the team at Prism Hotels & Resorts.
Kevin Gallagher
Vice President, Business Development

Kevin is Senior Vice President of Business Development for Prism Hotels & Resorts. Based out of the Dallas Office, he is involved in all aspects of development opportunities for Prism including acquisitions, management contracts and joint ventures. Additionally, Kevin has overseen the CMBS Lender and Special Servicer relationships for the past seven years and is actively involved in the CMSA.
Prior to being named Senior Vice President of Business Development, Kevin held positions of both Regional Vice President of Operations and Vice President of Sales with Prism Hotels & Resorts. Kevin's hospitality background includes 13 years with Bristol Hotels & Resorts in numerous capacities, including General Manager and Director of Operations of hotels ranging from 200-500 rooms in Atlanta, GA and Raleigh, NC.
Kevin has a BA in Music from the University of North Texas and resides in Dallas with his wife and three year old daughter.
Al Whitehouse
Vice President, Acquisitions

Before joining Prism, Al served as an IBM Global Services Project Executive for a strategic outsourcing client from 1999 to 2004. During this time, he completed a Masters of Science in Information Technology at the University of Denver's Daniels College of Business. Al's hospitality experience includes six years with Bristol Hotels & Resorts in a variety of capacities including General Manager and Guest Services Manager. He managed hotel takeovers and repositioning in Atlanta, before transferring to Dallas to manage Bristol's two DFW Airport properties.
Al holds a BS in Hotel Administration from Cornell University.

KIM SOTO
Vice President, Human Resources

Kim Soto has over 18 years of experience in Human Resource Management and Training, most spent in the hospitality industry at both the corporate and property level. Prior to joining Prism, she served in Area HR roles for both The Procaccianti Group and InterContinental Hotels Group. She also worked for Bristol Hotels and Resorts for several years where she held the positions of Corporate Training Manager and property HR Director at various Dallas area hotels. Kim has extensive experience in the areas of recruiting and international internship programs, employee relations, management training, compliance, and acquisition support.
She studied violin at The University of Michigan where she received a Bachelor’s degree in Music History/Musicology and achieved a second major in Communication.

LOIS MAHONEY
Vice President, Accounting

Lois’ experience encompasses over 20 years in hospitality accounting and finance management. During her eleven year tenure at Wyndham International, Lois gained experience as a Staff Accountant, Supervising Senior Accountant, Accounting Manager, and Financial Reporting Manager. She later went on to serve as the Accounting Manager and, most recently, the Director of Finance at Aimbridge Hospitality, where she managed accounting and reporting for 40 hotels.
Lois is a CPA and holds a Bachelor’s of Business Administration in Accounting from Corpus Christi State University.
KRISTI WAHLER
Director, Hotel Accounting

As Director of Accounting, Kristi is responsible for the hotel accounting process and client financial services, as well as Prism corporate reporting functions. Kristi has previously served Prism as Manager of Financial Reporting managing Prism’s corporate reporting, forecast, and budgeting processes and the corporate accounting software. Prior to joining Prism in 2005, Kristi was Finance Manager at BCD Travel, the third largest global travel management company, in charge of the client financial and statistical reporting for the United States West Division. Her past experience includes audit and public accounting work with KPMG in Fort Worth.
Kristi is a CPA and holds a Bachelor of Business Administration and a Master of Science in Accounting from Texas A&M University.

DAVID GARON
Regional Vice President, Operations

David is a Certified Hotel Administrator with more than 23 years of hospitality experience and many accomplishments. In his career, David has worked for Wyndham Hotels & Resorts, Dow Hotel Company, Kimpton Hotels and Restaurants and Larkspur Hotels and Restaurants.
Before becoming Regional Vice President of Operations at Prism Hotels, David held various positions including General Manager, Area General Manager and Area Director of Operations/General Manager. During the course of David’s positions his primary focus and accomplishments has been hotel transitioning, re-branding, creating and conducting training programs, successfully introducing new expense controls and monitoring procedures, and effectively revamping staffing patterns without impacting customer service levels.
David has a B.A. in Political Science from the University of California Los Angeles.
GILLES ARDITI

As a Certified Hotel Administrator, Gilles has over twenty years of service in hospitality management. Gilles’ analytical problem-solving and conceptual thinking skills have been demonstrated through his extensive experience. He is practiced in multi-property supervision with such brands as Starwood, Hilton, InterContinental, Marriott, and Wyndham. He is also an authority on property repositioning, property take-over, budgeting, sales and marketing planning and implementation; business planning and implantation; managerial staff development, and new property management.
Before joining Prism, Gilles served as Regional Vice President of Operations with Buffalo Lodging Associates, LLC. He also served as Regional Manager/Director of Operations for Ocean Hospitalities, Inc., and Vice President of Operations for Tidewater Hotels & Resorts.
Gilles attended the University of Miami and received his BA in Travel and Tourism from St. Thomas University; and he is fluent in French, English, and Spanish.
TODD RABURN
Regional Vice President, Operations

Todd brings over 12 years of hospitality experience to Prism Hotels. In his career Todd has worked for Bristol Hotels and Resorts, The Breakers, Sheraton Hotels, Holiday Inn, and Marriott. Before becoming Regional Vice President of Operations, Todd held various positions in the hospitality industry including Executive Chef, Area Chef, Director of Food and Beverage, Assistant General Manager, and General Manager.
In the course of his career his accomplishments include opening and operating a brand new 25 million dollar Beach Club Restaurant for Breakers. For Holiday Inn he achieved rankings of #1 in Geographical Group for Overall Guest Satisfaction and received a rating of “Excellent from the Intercontinental Hotel Group. During his tenure with Marriott, Todd was awarded “Best New Hotel” and “Franchise Opening of the Year” in 2005 by Marriott International; along with achieving a rating of “Excellent” in all Product and Quality Assurance Disciplines for two consecutive years, and was ranked 10th in the brand for Guest Satisfaction.
Todd has an A.O.S. in Culinary Arts from Johnson and Wales University and studied Psychology at Winthrop University. He based out of Dallas, TX and is married to Melaina and has 2 children.
RHONDA DYE
Regional Director, Operations

Rhonda brings more than 10 years of hospitality experience to the Prism team. She joined Prism in 2003 and prior to her post as Regional Director of Operations she held several capacities such as General Manager, Director of Opertation, Task Force & Transistion Manager. Before coming to Prism, Rhonda worked for Bristol Hotels & Resorts for four years in a various capacities and spent three years with Regus Business Centres. Her areas of specialty include property takeover and dispositions and CMBS hotel management.
Rhonda holds a Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy and a Bachelor of Science in Hotel & Restaurant Management, both from the University of Missouri. Rhonda lives in Dallas with her husband and their three dogs. She is an active volunteer for local animal shelters and a seasoned half-marathon runner.
Doll Ogden
Regional Director, Revenue Management

A Cluster Revenue Manager with Prism Hotels & Resorts, Doll provides strategic rate and competitive market analysis, implements yield strategies and provides on-going training for her portfolio of properties. Doll has been a part of the hospitality industry for the past 15 years holding various positions in operations, sales and revenue management.
Before joining the Prism family in December 2006, Doll was employed with Marriott International for the past five years. During her tenure with Marriott, she served as Cluster Revenue Manager for seven properties throughout the Southwest U.S., and as a Director of Revenue Management overseeing the revenue management of thirteen properties in south Houston. Her experience also includes working with Hilton, Omni Hotels, Courtyard by Marriott and Residence Inn by Marriott properties.
Doll holds a Bachelor of Journalism degree specializing in Public Relations with a Business Minor from the University of Texas in Austin. She resides in Austin, Texas with her husband of 13 years, Trevor, and their daughter, Natalie.
LEA CHAPA
Regional Director, Sales & Marketing

Lea provides sales support as well as marketing analysis for each asset in her region. Lea has over 10 years of experience in the hospitality industry. Lea’s expertise includes strategic property assessment for pre-opening, opening, as well as transitions, take-over, and under-performing hotels; increasing market share and yield; sales and marketing plan development and implementation; and hiring/training/continuing education for successful sales teams.
Prior to joining the Prism team, Lea has held various positions with Bristol, Bass, and InterContinental Hotels including Sales Manager, Regional Sales Manager, Director of Sales & Marketing, Regional Director for Business Travel, and Area Director of Sales. While with InterContinental, Lea was named Sales Champion for all InterContinental Hotels in the Houston Region.
Lea resides in Houston, TX with her husband, Rigo and two sons, Nicolas and Cole.
ALLISON BOCAN
Regional Director, Sales & Marketing

Allison is a Regional Director of Sales, providing sales and marketing support and oversight for Prism’s west coast portfolio of hotels. Before joining Prism in August 2007, Allison spent over nine years working for Interstate Hotels & Resorts and MeriStar Hotels in various sales capacities, most recently as a Director of Sales & Marketing in San Francisco, California. She has worked with such hotel brands as Hilton, Crowne Plaza, Holiday Inn, and Wyndham.
Allison is a University of Southern California graduate with a degree in Business Administration and an emphasis in Entrepreneurial Studies. Allison is based out of San Francisco, California. She enjoys travel, the outdoors, and USC football.
JANELLE CRAM
Regional Director, Sales & Marketing

Janelle joined Prism with over 20 years of Sales & Marketing experience. She catapulted her path to hospitality with Richfield Hospitality Services as a Director of Sales, Traveling Director of Sales and Regional Director of Sales & Marketing. Broadening her horizons she transitioned her experience to Regional Vice President of Sales for Prime Hospitality to develop the AmeriSuites brand. Wanting to get back to west coast Janelle accepted a position with Hilton Hotels in Portland where she oversaw the sales, marketing and revenue management of 2 convention hotels.
Most recently Janelle left her mark in Southern California as the Director of Marketing for downtown Los Angeles premier hotel, Omni Los Angeles and later promoted her to Omni's flagship hotel in Irving, Texas, Omni Mandalay.
Based out of Dallas, Texas Janelle is an Arizona State graduate with a degree in Organizational Communications in addition to her Masters Degree from Stanford University. She enjoys traveling, golfing, the beach and Pac 10 football.
